From King to Nazgul. From Nazgul to King??

Once a great king. So humble and malice less he was. Never offended, never aggressed. Lived life on a set of principles. Did not heed for power, had no carving for it. Still knew that rules of society were made by those who possessed power and followed by the rest. He made no rules but for himself. He never imposed. But as all good things are eyed and so was his rule. Soon he found himself surrounded by voracious folks. Soon he realized he had to change.

He did change. Power was what was required to protect and with power he assailed. Plundered the best, attacked the resists. Threatened at the tip of the sword; either it was his way or the sword’s. Blood was what he had to save of kin and bloody his hands became. He lost his love to the Lord of Denial; his character was such that he never had a duel with the Lord. He went ahead for greater power, rampaging all that came his way. He did change for the must but the change went uglier. He broke rules and those who stood in his way. Power lured him now. He is now known as the Nazgul. The question that persists is that, Will the king ever return?
